Why are you here?
What are your expectations for yourself and this class? How will getting a diploma help you with your future plans?
My expectations for this class are to be able to write a breathtaking essay because i have never really been that good at writing. I want to be able to present to the class because im deathly afraid of presenting and i really need to get over that fear. My diploma will help me move on to college to become an OBGYN and i also wish to study marine biology and my diploma will help me with both.
With this class i want to get better at writing essays because i never thought they were that good. Getting my diploma will help me by moving on to college and becoming watever i want to after. Cierra R.
My expectations for this class is to be able to write better essays because writing isn't really my specialty. My diploma will help me in the future because it will allow me to go onto college and be successful in whatever I wish to major in. My diploma will aslo help me get a good paying job while I am still attending college.
IN THIS CLASS I HOPE TO LEARN A GREAT DEED OF THINGS I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO READ TO COMPREHEND AND NOT JUST UNDERSTAND I WANT A DIPLOMA SO THAT I CAN GO TO COLLEGE SO THAT WHEN I GROW UP I CAN OWN MY OWN DAYCARE AND BE MORE CLEAR AND UNDERSTAND PEOPLE AND THEIR LIFE.
My expectations for English 4 is for the class to be as easy as possible so I can have a light senior year and graduate!!! receiving a diploma will help me move into the next phase of my life which is college so I can better myself and earn a degree that will provide the skills I need in my career field and acheive SUCCESS !!!
My expectations for this class is that it will help me become a better writer and makes my essays more developed. Writing right now isn't really my favorite thing or my best. My diploma will help me get further in life and with my career than not having one would. Having a diploma will get me a better job than I could get without having one.
My expectations for this class is to be able to become a better writer. I would like to be able to learn how to use better transition words and be as detailed as possible. Receiving my diploma will help me to become a successful employee and will also help me find a well paying job.
My expectations is not to improve my writing or reading skills or to become interested atall. All I want is to learn how to score a 25 at least on the ACT and score a 2400 on the SAT. That will ultimately help me attain bright futures.My high school diploma will mean that I have survived not only high school but, elementary and middle. The diploma will help me become the personal trainer that I always wanted to be and help me enter into any college of choice.
My expectations for english 4 this year is to become a better writer. I also want to pass this class with flying colors but the only way that can happen is if I can work well with the teacher and get along with my peers. In the end, I want to become a better reader and enjoy what i am reading. I want to graduate and get a diploma and not a certificate, to experience bigger and better things in life to be the very best that I know I can be!!!
My expectations for this english course is to be easy so i am able to pul my gpa up for possible scholorships.i also want to have a light senior year so i can enjoy myself as much as possible.It is imporatnat to get a diploma because this will help me get into any college or university.The diploma will also open up a number of oppurtunities that people with a GED wont have.

I have little expectations from this class, other than it being like the rest of them. I would like to pass it, thats it. If you have something to teach me, then teach teacher. I'll try to learn it the best I can.
Mark Boardman Period 4B (That IS First Period on B Day isn't it?)
My exspectations for English 4 this year is to learn as much about english as possible. Also i want this class to prepare me for college english that way i can be prepared and ready to take the challenge. The last expectaion i plan to get from this class is to help prepare me for adulthood as a man. Getting a diploma will help me in a major way and that is because in my career track you need to have a diploma.
My expectations for class this year is very simple,just to have easy work very slim homework and the least amount of projects as possible and to make this class easier on myself to graduate. After I graduate I plan to start the next step in my young adult life to become successfull inany and everything i do
My expectations at the end of this class is to better develop myself to be able to speak and write professionllay, get straight A's and graduate. Obtaining my diploma will help me futher myself in future goals and acheivements that will help fulfil my professions.
What I expect to get out of this class is to succeed in life and achieve big goals and dreams and just to look back at what all my English classes did for me
My expectations for this class is to write a better essay and also get the best grade possible. Recieving my diploma will allow me to go to college and get a 4 year degree in criminal justice and become a police officer.
I am here to better myself as a writer and reader. Being as this is my final obstacle in the literature department I would like to learn as much as I can before going on to college.
My expectations for English 4 this year is to be able to better myself at writing excellent papers, which will help when witing college essays, and also to be able to give ooutstanding prsentations, along reading novels that will better my knowledge. Receiving my dipolma will be the first step to a better life of many doors filled with lots of oppertunitites. It will also allow me to move a step further in my dream in becoming a pediatric nurse. I expect to learn how to write an essay because I am not to strong at it. I might not be able to write to well but hopefully I will learn something! Getting a diploma will help me become a chef. If i stay in school and do what is needed i can do what makes me happy!
My expectations for this class are very simple. All i want to do is pass. I never have been a fan of English, and i dont plan on becoming one. So i dont really care if i become a better writer, or any of that stuff. I do enjoy reading though, but only with certain kinds of books, like mystery and books like Harry Potter. Recieving my diploma will help me greatly with my future plans. I plan on going to UM(University of Miami) to study Marine Biology, and that would be impossible without a highschool diploma.
My expectations for this class are to pass and hopefully because of having had this class i will have a firmer grasp of the english language. In the future i hope to follow in the foot steps of most of the women in my family and enter the nursing field.\ Ariana Murray 7th period
My expetations for English 4, is learning more about how to do researching for papers, and of giving presentations and speeches. My expectations for English 4 are to be able to write better so when i have to write essays for college i will be on point and also to get good grades in your class.
I am hoping to get alot out of this class, my last year english class with Mrs.Atkins was really fun, but at the same time was very educational, i really hope i get alot out of this class this year and look forward to graduating this year.
My expectations for English 4 this year are to develop all the skills I need to work on such as reading and writing. I also would like our class to be creative and fun. And not to worry about having a lot of homework.

So my diploma would help me out alot.
I feel that with my classroom standards and working habits, i belong in an AP lit. course...but im not. i intend to make the most of english 4 and maintain an A in the class. With that A i plan to learn literature and advaned grammarical usages, tips on how to better my witing techniques, and an overall good experience in my last english class at first coast high school.
I think getting my high school diploma will help me in life because in my eyes after high school with no diploma you pretty much are destin to fail. I grew up lookin at family struggle all my life an i want better for myself an i feel a high school diploma will be the start of that. My expectations for this class is basically to learn some thing i don't already know. I already know how to write essays an have no problem doing that but they are not perfect and i think this class can help me perfect them.
my expectations for this class is to really learn how to use grammar in the correct way without making any errors. I would also like to be able to write a strong essay and actually love to write and read.

My expectations for this class are to make sure that i do all of my work, exspecially my homeowrk! I seem to have always had a problem with doing it. Also I want Mrs. Dugger to help me be more successful in grammer. My expectations are to become a proficient writer as well as expand my vocabulary. Gettig a diploma is everything because in this day of competition you would be hard pressed to get a job at Mccy D's without one.
My expectations for this class are to get better at comprehending while I read any type of book. I will admit that I am slow at comprehending and understanding things dealing with my english.
My expectations in the class is to just become a more excellent and better reader. With a diploma I will soon be able to go to college and sooner or later provide for my family later in life.

I expect to put forth the effort it takes to pass this class as I realize that I am eapable and it up to me.I have not alwasys had this attitude and it has cost me both in time and effort.I want a diploma because in this day and time a diploma is a requirement if you plan to be at least minimally successful

My expectations for this class are many things to help me out for the future. One of the first many expectations are learning and preparing for collage, And also to be a better reader and writer. Okay what I expect from this class, is to really pass this class, and hopefully make an "A". Maybe somewhere along the lines, it can help for my future career, which is to be a medical examiner.

Well, I really don't have a lot of expectations for this class. The only things I really need to understand better are main idea, and the author purpose! The only problems I have with writing are spelling, and not knowing when to stop! Other than that, everything else is good! (Mist)Keira 5th

My expectations for this class are to learn how to write better, learn how to use bigger words and how to write long papers.I want to learn all I can about writing, so I can write papers if I need to for high school or college.Getting my diploma will help me in my future plans with what kinda job I get and I want to be able to make SIX DIGITS when I gradute out of college and get a job. So my diploma would help me out alot.

I think getting my high school diploma will help me in life because in my eyes after high school with no diploma you pretty much are destin to fail. Well, I really don't have a lot of expectations for this class. The only things I really need to understand better are main idea, and the author purpose! The only problems I have with writing are spelling, and not knowing when to stop! Other than that, everything else is good!
